VDA Design Award: Transport Efficiency 2020
 
The 4th VDA Design Awards 2008 (Verband for Automobilindustrie : German Association of the Automotive Industry) was held on 26th Sept, 2008 at Hannover , Germany during the IAA Commercial Vehicle Fair. Out of several participants, seven were awarded prizes and another seven works had been selected to be exhibited as finalists.
Out of the first seven prize winners, Ramandeep Singh Ratta, transportation design student of MIT Institute of Design, Rajbaug, Loni India has bagged the 4 th prize for his work named FELIDAE, model of a special truck designed to transport flat glass with a reduction of time, effort and breakage with a special suspension set up that after identifying the road pavement adapts itself during transportation.
Besides being awarded he has also been granted an internship with Mercedes Benz (Daimler), Europe.
