Fashion Design
A design graduate in Fashion from National institute of fashion technology, Piyush Bhaakhariya has experience in various areas of Fashion. He has worked on the corporate projects on Uniform design introducing denim fabrics for school children's, working professionals, blue color workers, field workers & Engineers for the Chiripal Group, and Torrent Power and Torrent Pharmaceuticals. He has also worked as a Sr. Designer in Hutheesing Design Company and developed the range of Men's Royal Costumes.
He has been actively working in the craft sector in rural areas across India and done several projects on "Design Intervention and technical development"
with NGO's for the upliftment of women employment under Ministry of Textiles. He has also worked Handloom project on "Tangalia" craft with NIFT.

He is also involved into teaching as a Guest Faculty and actively involved for the design collection and fashion show in NIFT, Surat. His Core strength lies in Fashion Illustration, Pattern Cutting, Draping, Fashion Styling and Design Process.


  • He has also participated in “Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week” in SS/2011 as a Gen Next Designer and presented Men’s Cruise wear Collection.
  • He has got wide acclaimed for Designing Swim Wear for “Kingfisher Swimsuit Special Calander 06”.
  • His work has also published in the special editions of the magazine “FEMINA. Nov.’11”
  • He has been one of the finalists in “Designer Hunt’06” Competition.
  • He is empaneled designer with Office of the Development Commissioners’, Ministry of Textiles.
  • He is also associated as designer with Gujarat State Handloom & Handicraft Development Corporation.
