She has completed her architectural bachelors in 2005 from Pune University. After working in architectural and interior design field for one year she did masters in product design from National Institute of Design in 2009.
After experience in design field for almost three years she has joined MIT institute of design recently. She has been involved in various design related projects ranging from product design, interior design to large scale architectural projects and research.
She was also involved with architectural college in Pune in teaching design for one year as a visiting faculty. What fascinated her is the multidisciplinary experiences in design profession.
Her professional projects include design of a solar oven for Indian rural market with all new technology and simplicity, solar lanterns, down-lighters, and also architectural projects like multistoried residential townships, commercial complexes and health resorts to interior projects of residential to office spaces.
She has a strong interest in craft activities happening in India, system design, green and sustainable development and also product and architectural design related areas. She is involved In MIT Institute of Design as a senior lecturer to share her experiences with young designers for the benefit of design profession in society. She is very keen to take the research in all these areas forward and the multi diverse design environment in MIT Institute of Design which will enrich her experience.
