Mr. Goutam Bandyopadhyay (Banerjee) is from Calcutta, and has had his foundational learning in Art and Design from Rabindra Bharati University, Calcutta, with a 1st class Diploma in Visual Art. He also has a certificate in Art Appreciation from the Information Dept., Govt. of West Bengal.
He has spent more than 20 years in the creative department of different advertising agencies like O&M, ACIL, Saatchi & Saatchi and Brand Stewards as Art Director/ Senior Art Director. He was also formerly with the IILM- School of Design for 3 years, prior to joining the MIT- Institute of Design. He loves to draw and the great world masters inspire and influence him. An ardent admirer of Pablo Picasso. His other interests are classical music and sports. Nature studies
