Before joining MITID he has taught at NID Ahmedabad and FTII Pune, both premier institutes of India. He has also taught at Xavier Institute of Communication, Mumbai where he was also the joint course co-ordinator for a brief period of time. He has taught at SNDT Mumbai, in the PG Course in Mass Communication since its inception in 1996. He has also conducted workshops and lectured at Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune, Indubhai Parekh School of Architecture, Rajkot, SIES College, Mumbai, Wigan & Leigh, Mumbai. In addition he has privately conducted workshops successfully in Mumbai and Pune.

He considers himself privileged  for having been invited by various institutions/organizations as an examiner/jury member/interviewer for students admissions/assessments as well as competitions.
