National Chemical laboratory, (NCL), Pune, a premier R & D institute of India, celebrates the Diamond Jubilee in the year 2009-10. It is indeed a significant landmark in the history of evolution for a national scientific institution. They called for a special logo design on the occasion, which must reflect in some manner the future aspiration of the NCL as they completed sixty years of an eventful journey connecting with CSIR, the parent organization from where they have derived. In response, five of our students - Mr. Ravi Gupta from PG final year Graphic Design, Mr. Dipto De, Ms. Pankhuri Jain, Ms. Saloni Sabnis and Ms. Prajakta Pimpalkhare from 3rd year UG Graphic Design had participated under the guidance of Prof. Paresh Choudhury. In this event, Mr. Ravi Gupta bagged the first prize worth of Rupees Ten thousand and the four other participants got commendation prizes as well. They received the awards in the special inaugural function held on 9th January 12, 2009 in the NCL campus. It is a big success for our Institute and we proudly congratulate all the winners.
