A student of Product Design and alumni of MIT ID batch 2014, Satyajit Mittal, addresses to this global health crisis with interdisciplinary solutions called "SquatEase - A Clean + Comfortable Toilet Solution".

'AAI aka a Mother' Is Honoured with National Record
‘AAI aka a Mother’, a black and white traditional short animation film, shot in a single and unedited take, has been honoured with National Record (Limca Book of Records). Unlike other animated film, which uses special effects and camera tricks to create the appearance of a single-take, AAI is a real deal. The entire take is 10 minutes long without any hidden cuts.

Gaurav Nandi bags 1st prize for his vehicle design at the Auto Expo 2016
Gaurav Nandi – final year PG Transportation Design student won the 1st prize at the Automotive Design Challenge contest. The contest was organized by SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers') and the prize was announced at the 10th SIAM Styling & Design Conclave held during the Auto Expo 2016 at Greater Noida.

Hike's Great Indian Sticker Challenge in 2015
Ashna Rupani of UG SEM 4,Graphic Design student of MIT Institute of Design, had participated in Great Indian Sticker Challenge Contest ,organized by Hike Messenger dated 15th April 2015. The result for which was announced on 1st May 2015. Above 11000 participants were there from all over India out of which 40 were shortlisted.

Students of MIT Institute of Design decided to design something that is used by all. They decided to use Earphones which are used by all. They were inspired by Japanese traditional dress “KIMONO”. Their aim is to spread the Kimono culture throughout the world through Kimonophones. Something that is trendy but traditional. Their names are Pranali Linge, Uttara Ghodke & Viraj Joshi

MIT Institute of Design students reduce 'Burden' on Dabbewala
Two students here at MIT Institute of Design have designed a jacket for Mumbai Dabbawalas. After thorough research, screening of concepts, prototyping, iterations and user-validation they finalized on the optimum Design for the jacket. Equipped with the jacket the dabbawalas will now be able to carry 35 tiffins without the crate / basket that they used previously. .
