Akash is a professional audio engineer, music producer, and audio consultant. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), batch of 2011. He also has experience working in FTII as a sound professional for five years.
Even before FTII, He was a freelancer Music Composer & MIDI Programmer, with experience of working on projects of different genres.
Apart from having experience in teaching & training students in sound recording & design for fiction & non-fiction, podcast programming, music production & audio storytelling, his core work areas include ambisonics, audio troubleshooting & problem-solving, game audio, sound design for animation, experimental audio, audio networking solutions & smartphone filmmaking.
He is also a keen researcher, exploring audio innovation & an amateur hobbyist coder.
He currently works as an assistant professor in the Film and Video Design Department at MIT ADT University-Institute of Design for the last five years.
