Dr. Kamal Srivastava is a media artist, design educator, researcher, and digital innovation specialist with over 20 years of experience in digital art, animation, 3D design, immersive media, and higher education. His expertise spans 3D character design, product visualization, game asset creation, architectural visualization, motion graphics, and AR/VR technologies, with a strong focus on integrating creativity with emerging digital tools.

His research explores the impact of Digital Media and Artificial Intelligence on Contemporary Indian Art, contributing to the growing dialogue on AI-assisted creativity, digital art, immersive experiences, and technology-enabled design education. He has published several research papers in national and international peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed journals and has presented his work at prestigious academic conferences.

Dr. Srivastava has played a significant role in curriculum development, academic quality enhancement, and mentoring students in digital art, animation, game design, motion graphics, and 3D printing. His multidisciplinary approach combines traditional fine arts with advanced digital technologies, preparing students for the evolving creative industry.

Beyond academia, he has extensive professional experience in animation production, digital content creation, and 3D visualization. He contributed as a 3D Artist to the bronze sculpture of Sachin Tendulkar installed at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, participated in the creation of the RBI Logo Sculpture alongside renowned sculptor Mr. Pramod Kamble, and was invited to conduct an academic audit of course files to ensure curriculum alignment, academic quality, and accreditation compliance.

Dr. Srivastava earned his Ph.D. in Fine Arts with research on the impact of Digital Media and Artificial Intelligence on Contemporary Indian Art. He also holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Drawing & Painting, along with a Professional Diploma in 3D Animation, reflecting his strong foundation in both traditional artistic practice and advanced digital technologies.
