User Experience Design

Jitesh has joined as an Assistant Professor in User Experience Design. He is in the final stages of completing his PhD from the department of Design at IIT Guwahati (Assam). With a foundation in engineering and a passion for emerging technologies, he is dedicated to advancing the field of User Experience through research, teaching, and practical application.

During his doctoral research, at IIT Guwahati (Assam), he worked to understand the needs of grass-root workers in remote areas of Assam. Through extensive interviews and fieldwork, he gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by these communities and explored innovative solutions to enhance their livelihoods.

He believes in adopting a student-centric ecosystem and to encourage curiosity among students. His research and teaching areas include Human-factors, human-computer interaction, design research methodology and related topics. Mr. Chauhan has two Utility patents and few design registrations. He also has an interest in reading books, listening to music, and playing Tennis.
