Nilesh is working as an Assistant Professor at MIT Institute of Design, ADT University, Pune, with over ten years of experience as a master craftsman and four years of hands-on experience in various commercial projects and professional assignments. He has over a decade of experience guiding students with different materials. He is a thoughtful, Innovative, and sincere person with creative concepts and ideas.
Nilesh has pursued various academic qualifications, including an Art Teacher Diploma (ATD), Art Master (AM) from Lalit Kala Mahavidyalaya, Sinner (Nashik), Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from VIT Vishwakarma College of Fine Art, Pune, and a Master of Fine Arts and Post Graduate Diploma for Professionals from MIT School of Fine Art & Applied Art, Pune. Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in fine art at Chitkara University in Chandigarh, Punjab.
His research has been published in several prestigious Journals and presented at national conferences. He has participated in many Painting exhibitions and art competitions. He has showcased works in several group shows and had been conducting and attending workshops on various new learning exposure.
He has proved himself as an expert in material handling and working with a wide range of materials, including wood, metal, FRP, clay, POP, paper Mache, and many more. He has a deep understanding of the creative potential of various materials. He has worked extensively with mediums such as FRP molding and casting, metal casting, paper mache, Siporex block carving, and mural making. His passion for mediums is evident in his extensive portfolio of commercial projects and installations, which highlight his innovative approach and creativity.
Nilesh is a curious and hard-working person who is always exploring new possibilities in teaching methodology, materials, and design.
