Hailing from a small city Sultanpur, located in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, Nitin always wanted to have a career in the field of creativity. He used to wonder as to how everything in nature was connected to each other, was cohesive and yet stood out distinctly, inspired him to pursue Textile Design from NIFT Mumbai as graduation and completed masters in Apparel Design from NID Gandhinagar. He has also studied Knitwear Design from Herriot Watt University, Edinburgh UK under an international exchange program during the post-graduation. He has worked on many small projects with crafts-based NGO to fill the gap in their work culture as a part of System Design. He has also explored hand-woven textiles including carpets and worked with Natural Dyes. His skills include hands-on expertise in Garment construction, pattern making, print design, weaving, dyeing, printing, embroidery, knitting, non-loom techniques, sketching and painting. Nitin likes to take problems as design challenges and give solutions in least available resources as well.
