The M.Des Fashion Futures program is a two-year postgraduate degree designed to respond to the rapidly evolving global fashion ecosystem. Offered with career pathways in Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, and Fashion Retail Management, the program combines academic rigor with strong industry relevance, preparing graduates for leadership roles across the fashion value chain.
The curriculum follows a studio-based, project-oriented, and research-driven pedagogy, fostering both conceptual depth and practical expertise. Students engage in core modules, advanced studio projects, and industry-linked workshops that encourage collaboration across all three specializations. Through cross-learning opportunities, learners gain a holistic understanding of how sustainability, innovation, technology and entrepreneurship intersect within contemporary fashion design, communication, and retail systems.
This program has been strategically introduced in response to the fashion industry’s growing demand for multi-skilled, technology-aware, and sustainability-conscious professionals. By integrating four key verticals—Sustainability, Innovation, Technology & AI, and Entrepreneurship. The M.Des Fashion Futures program empowers students to work across the full spectrum of fashion, from creative ideation and visual storytelling to retail strategy, systems thinking, and business leadership.
With a strong emphasis on global relevance and local responsibility, the program aims to nurture future-ready designers, communicators, and retail strategists who can drive meaningful change and innovation within the fashion industry.
